Visa, Arrival & Deferral Request
You must make your own arrangements for airport pick-up.
If you are staying in a homestay, a host family can come to pick you up. Please contact the homestay organization with your flight information at least two weeks before you arrive in Seattle.
If you are not applying for a host family, but you would like to be picked up at the airport and taken to housing that you have arranged independently, this service is available to you through Shuttle Express. You may book your journey online on their website.
Check in at the North Seattle College International Programs Office as soon as you arrive in Seattle.
The International Programs office is located in the College Center Building just past Advising and Financial Aid, next to the Testing Center.
Before attending orientation, you will need to complete the Pre-Arrival Check-in at the Student Portal.
If you are unable to obtain the F-1 visa, you can apply to defer to a later quarter.
To request a deferral, you must go to the Student Portal and complete the Deferral Request.
